Congress is back in session and we are moving full steam ahead. I was officially sworn in to the 119th Congress and I'm excited to hit the ground running to deliver results for Ohioans. I want to share a quick update with you. This week:
- A joint session of Congress certified the 2024 election of President Donald Trump with no objections. It's time to restore prosperity, safety, and opportunity in America.
- The House made border security a top priority by passing the Laken Riley Act. Congress must put a stop to the failed border policies of the Biden administration.
- I spoke on the house floor in support of the the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act. The United States stands with our ally Israel. S

The first bill passed by the 119th Congress was the Laken Riley Act. In the past few years, we’ve seen several stories about the victims of Biden’s open border. Under the Biden Administration, more than 8.8 million illegal immigrants have been encountered at the southern border. As our communities continue to suffer under the weight of dangerous open border policies, it is more critical than ever that we stop allowing criminals to flood into our country and put American lives at stake.
It's time to put a stop to the failed border policies of the Biden administration. We stand with innocent victims like Laken.

In November 2024, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Both President Biden and President Trump have rightly condemned these charges, recognizing their destructive implications. The Illegitimate ICC has no business targeting Americans or our allies like Israel. Congress stands with our ally and friend, and will always support Israel’s right to defend itself.
The Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act (H.R. 23) passed with bipartisan support.
