Dear Friend,

It's been great to be back in Ohio the last few weeks and see so many of you across the district.

I wanted to reach out to give an update on my work and talk about the severe weather in Cuyahoga County earlier this week.

The storms that ran through Northeast Ohio caused power outages and damage to homes and businesses. We should all be thankful for the people who serve and protect us at all levels, especially the utility crews and road crews who are still working to restore power and remove debris. I am thankful the severe weather impacts were not worse, and we are immeasurably indebted to everyone who put their duty and our communities first.

I have now been in Congress for over a year and a half. While my time in Washington has not been free of challenges, I am proud of the work my team and I have done and grateful for the support from so many of you. Here are a few highlights from the last 18 months:

  • 18 town halls with constituents by phone and in person
  • Over 750 meetings, events, tours, or visits attended by my team and me
  • Over 220 Capitol tours organized for visitors from the district
  • Over $15 million for community safety and infrastructure projects
  • Over 900 federal cases closed for constituents
  • Over $5,000,000 returned to constituents from federal agencies
  • Over 75,000 questions answered for constituents

We’ve also made progress on the policy priorities I've been focused on this Congress. On the Agriculture Committee, we’ve worked to advance a Farm Bill that supports Ohio's farmers, rural economic development, and affordable food for consumers. On the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, I’ve proudly passed bills that will improve weather forecasting and make Ohio cement manufacturing more competitive. I’m also advocating for expanded access to career and technical education and introduced The American Workforce Act.

Making the federal government work better for my constituents remains my first priority. If you need help with a federal agency or want to learn more about my work, please reach out to my office at (330) 661-6654 or visit my website. I am here to serve you.

As always, stay up-to-date with my work in Washington and in our district by following me on Facebook, X, and Instagram.

Best wishes,
