Dear Friend,

As the House of Representatives begins the August district work period, I look forward to seeing many of you back home in Ohio. This week, the House passed another appropriations bill to strengthen our energy security, protect recreational use of public lands, and safeguard American jobs. Here's a quick update on what else we've been up to in Washington:

  • The Oversight Committee Held Secret Service Director Cheatle Accountable for the security failures surrounding the attempted assassination of President Trump.
  • I recognized the The Sunbow 57 Girls, young entrepreneurs from our district, on the House Floor.

  • Funding for Critical Infrastructure in Our Community was authorized in the Water Resources Development Act.

  • The House Agriculture Committee held a hearing titled "Reauthorizing the CFTC: Stakeholder Perspectives" to talk about how agriculture producers manage risk.

Keep reading below for more details.

As always, stay up-to-date with my work in Washington and in our district by visiting my website and following me on Facebook, X, and Instagram.

Best wishes,
