Dear Friend,

Its been great being home in Ohio for the Easter Recess. I will head back to Washington next week after time with family, friends, and many of you. We have some big things to address in the House, so I want to give you a quick update.

I was able to visit with many of you across the district. There are so many businesses and organizations that make Northeast Ohio a great place to live. I am thankful for all of the wonderful things so many of you do for our communities.
Thanks to everyone who came out to my town hall in Brecksville. It was great talking with many of you there. I was able to answer questions about my work in Washington and discuss issues that are important to our communities.
Lubrizol is innovative company that researches and develops high-quality products for the healthcare, beauty, construction, textiles, and other industries. I took a tour of their facility and held an employee town hall. I was able to talk about issues that are important to workers in Northeast Ohio.

Meeting with Local Leaders

In Northeast Ohio, we are fortunate to have strong leaders who are dedicated to making their communities better. I rely on the input of local leaders to make sure that the priorities of Northeast Ohio are being represented in Washington. Over the last two weeks I have met with:

Mayor Clough of Westlake
Mayor Gottschalk and other council members in Oakwood Village
Mayor Hale and Police Chief Barone in Bentleyville
Medina County Sheriff Terry Grice
The City of Medina’s Economic Development Committee Director Marshall, Mayor Hanwell, Police Chief Kinney, and other committee members.

Meeting with Community Organizations

As National Kidney Month came to a close, I visited dialysis centers in Westlake and Rocky River. I learned about the critical role that the DaVita Hilliard Dialysis Center and the Fresenius Medical Care Center play in the community and the important treatments these facilities provide.

I also stopped by the Fish Fry hosted by American Legion Post 572 in Parma to chat with our veterans. Thank you to Commander Erich Pfleaidermahnn for inviting me to attend.

In Medina, I sat down with the Greater Medina Chamber and shared updates about my work in Congress and discussed economic development. Thank you to Executive Director Jaclyn Ringstmeier and Medina County Commissioner Aaron Harrison for facilitating our discussion!

Brecksville Community Town Hall

Thanks to everyone who came out on a Saturday morning to share thoughts and questions at my Town Hall in Brecksville. It was great talking with you, answering your questions, and hearing how I can continue to represent Northeast Ohio in Congress. Special thanks to Brayan Morenes-Jaime, a hardworking senior in the Machine Tech program at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, for leading us in the pledge of allegiance, and to Dominic Sciria, a member of the Brecksville Planning Commission, for moderating the discussion.

Lubrizol Tour and Employee Town Hall

Companies like Lubrizol in Northeast Ohio drive our economy and provide great jobs!
Lubrizol employs over 400 people in the Brecksville area. They specialize in the research and development of high-quality products with applications in healthcare, beauty, construction, textiles, and more. Lubrizol invited me to tour the facility to learn more about the company. During the tour, I saw the production of materials used in many wellness-related applications like sustainable activewear and athletic shoes. After the tour, I held a town hall with Lubrizol's employees and took some great questions. We have the best workers in America right here in Ohio!
