Dear Friend,

I just wrapped up an engaging week in the district and I want to give you a quick update. I talked with a lot of constituents, visited companies and heard from employees, and met with local officials.

I also hosted my 11th Town Hall with constituents. It was great getting to speak with so many of you to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. Spending time hearing real Ohio perspectives from constituents helps me do a better job in Congress.

This week I'm back in Washington. Discussions continue about securing our border and reining in reckless spending. I'm putting ideas on the table for a plan that holds the line on spending, reduces waste across federal agencies, and protects our national security.

Solutions will not come easy, but I'm determined to keep pushing for policies that strengthen our country and make Northeast Ohio more prosperous.

You deserve transparency and accountability and that's what I strive to provide with these Town Halls. I’m grateful to everyone who took the time to talk with me.

Last week I got to talk to a lot of people in the district. In addition to my town hall, I visited two Northeast Ohio companies to hear from employees and held roundtable discussions with local officials in Medina County and Wayne County. 

Spending time with constituents and hearing their perspectives helps me do a better job in Congress.

Highlights from this week:

✓ Visited Centerra Co-op to speak with employees and learn about how they support our farmers.
✓ Toured the TWB Company's Valley City plant and spoke with employees about their important work and community concerns.
✓ Met with the Orrville Chamber of Commerce to discuss their work to strengthen local businesses.
✓ Held a roundtable discussion with Medina County officials to learn how I can support their work.
✓ Met with North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and local officials to talk about funding for community projects.
✓ Updated Wayne County officials about my work and discussed how I can better represent them in Washington.

This past November, I introduced the bipartisan Farm to Fly Act to create new, robust markets for American agricultural products, drive rural economic development, and strengthen domestic energy resources.

Our nation's farmers are one step closer to fueling flight as a bipartisan group of Senators led by Senator Jerry Moran, introduced the bill in the Senate last week.

If we can pass this, it will be a big win for U.S. farmers, consumers, and American aviation. The Senate introduction is a positive step in the right direction!
