Dear Friend,

We just wrapped up the last scheduled week of the year for Congress, and I want to give you a quick update.

This week, we passed the National Defense Authorization act. I'm proud to say that this bill is a tremendous accomplishment that supports our military men and women, protects America, and secures conservative wins for the American people:

✓ A 5.2% pay raise for our troops
✓ Strengthens national defense against hostile nations like China, Russia, and Iran.
✓ Freezes hiring for DEI positions
✓ Bans tax-payer funds for drag shows & CRT

I'm looking forward to a good holiday in Ohio and seeing many of you over the next couple of weeks. But of course I'm most excited about being home with my family.

We've gotten some good things done for Northeast Ohio and America in 2023. But we didn't get to everything and have a lot of work to do that will make our region and country stronger and safer.

I am up for the challenge and committed to another good year serving you.
