Dear Friend,

I am finishing my first week back in Washington after the district work period. While it’s never easy for me to leave Ohio, I was excited to get back and tackle some big things on the agenda for September.

We have strong arguments for holding a firm line on spending. We already passed spending caps meant to keep the federal budget in check. We can’t keep going deeper into debt. It would be irresponsible to keep spending money foolishly.

We need to pass the Farm Bill so that our farmers, ranchers, and producers can be successful and so families and many children will have access to nutrition. We need to re-authorize the Federal Aviation Administration so Americans can travel safely. And we must re-authorize the Defense Department, so we don’t put America’s national security at risk.

All of these issues are connected, and I’ll be working with others on a way forward that keeps our government – and its spending – ACCOUNTABLE TO THE PEOPLE.

You deserve transparency and accountability. Please be sure you are subscribed to my newsletter and share this email with your family and friends so they can subscribe too. I will keep you updated about what I’m doing to serve you, and I always want to hear from you.

Also, let's stay connected through our website, Facebook, X, and Instagram.

Best wishes,
