I'm just wrapping up a month in Northeast Ohio working from our district. It's been great to see so many of you and hear your thoughts about our country, our region, and how I can best represent your interests in Washington.

The Center for Employment Opportunities plays an important role in offering career guidance and job-readiness training to Northeast Ohioans who need it most. It was a pleasure to visit and learn about their success model for reducing recidivism.

Battling the Effects of the Border Crisis

HOPE Recovery Community | Medina

Hope Recovery Community is a great organization that helps individuals navigate the addiction recovery journey. Congress must secure our border to stem the flow of illegal drugs. We must also invest in effective recovery programs like this one to save lives.

Fighting for Ohio Agriculture

Agriculture Advisory Council

My Agriculture Advisory Council is comprised of 24 farmers, ranchers, and producers who are leading voices for our agriculture industry.

These leaders have been instrumental to me advancing Ohio's interests as I worked to strengthen our nation's food supply in the 2023 Farm Bill.

Co-Leading Legislation to Strengthen Ohio Agriculture and Unleash American Energy

I recently introduced the bipartisan Farm to Fuselage Act with strong support from farmers in Northeast Ohio. This legislation will update the Farm Bill to expand the role of U.S. agriculture in building our nation’s fuel supply.

This is good for our agriculture and rural economies, and it is good for American consumers, who are sure to benefit from more American energy production.

Advancing Science & Technology

NASA Glenn Research Center | Cleveland

It's always great to visit the NASA Glenn Research Center and learn about their cutting edge work in research and technology. This is an important part of Northeast Ohio's economy and I am proud to support their work as a leading member of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee.

Serving Those Who Sacrificed For Us

PACT Act Veterans' Resource Fair | Parma

My team and I have no greater honor than getting to serve our American heroes. We hosted a PACT Act Veterans’ Resource Fair to provide veterans and their families information on the resources that are available through the PACT Act programs.

Securing Investment for Ohio's 7th District

Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District Projects

I am proud that I was able to help secure much-needed federal funding for Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. I had the opportunity to visit 3 of their projects in Parma and Brooklyn. The Baldwin Creek Dell Haven Basin project will reduce flooding in the area by 50%.

Nominations are open for prospective students of our nation's Service Academies! It is a tremendous honor to receive a Congressional nomination and appointment to a military academy. Only the brightest of America’s youth are offered a chance to attend one of these historic institutions. An appointment comes with great responsibility.

Thanks to David Carr, President and CEO of Brennan Industries, for inviting me to visit this great company and hosting a town hall for me to talk to the employees.

We had a great discussion about work-force related shortages and how they work to overcome them.

Our business leaders represent great companies, both large and small, that create jobs and contribute to our communities.

Thank you to Solon Mayor Kraus and the Solon Chamber of Commerce for the chance to talk to such a great group of leaders.

TLC Products | Westlake

I had such a fascinating time meeting with the TLC Products team and learning how they create world-class live bacterial products. Their products support and strengthen agricultural producers in the district.

Armstrong Broadband | Medina

Sam Pietrangelo invited me to tour Armstrong's Medina facility and talk to the employees during a town hall. They have a great team and it was fantastic getting to spend time talking with them. Armstrong does tremendous work expanding broadband access to rural communities.
