Dear {{prefix}} {{lastname}},

Happy Friday!

This week, my focus remained on delivering tangible results for the American people and making sure the government works for those it is supposed to serve. From fighting to lower costs for families and small businesses, to holding the Senate accountable on election integrity, I worked to ensure commonsense solutions do not get buried by delay or political games. At home, I have continued pushing to ensure our communities receive the support they deserve and the resources needed to move critical projects forward. I will keep advancing practical solutions, cutting through the red tape, and standing firm until the work gets done.

Fuel Relief for American Families

This week, I continued fighting for my American Families Gas Tax Relief Act to be brought to the floor and codified, allowing Americans to start seeing immediate savings. My bill pauses the federal tax on both gas and diesel for 120 days to lower costs that extend far beyond the pump.

When the cost of diesel comes down, businesses spend less on transporting goods, which means lower prices and more savings for hard-working American families. I am committed to getting this commonsense legislation across the line as a tangible step to foster affordability.

Ending the Senate's SAVE Act Shenanigans

After months of stalling in the Senate, the stalemate over the SAVE America Act may finally be coming to an end. President Trump has made clear that the Save America Act must be included in either FISA or the Housing bill. Senate leadership no longer has an excuse has to obstruct one of the most important and widely supported pieces of legislation in the country. I intend to hold them accountable and ensure that we finally deliver Voter ID for the American people and safeguard the integrity of our elections.

FEMA Funding For FL–13

This week, FEMA announced that more than $4 million in Hazard Mitigation grants are headed directly to Florida’s 13th Congressional District for several critical projects. As hurricane season approaches, this funding will help strengthen flood protection and stormwater systems in our coastal communities still recovering from Hurricane Helene.

Given the devastating impact on our district, every step toward stronger infrastructure is crucial. Alongside FEMA's funding, I will continue working to cut through the red tape to secure the federal support and every available resource our recovery projects need to move forward.
