Dear {{prefix}} {{lastname}},

Happy Friday!

This week, I remained committed to standing firm on the promises I have made and delivering real results where it matters most. From delivering a major MAHA victory against pesticide liability protections to continuing to fight for the SAVE America Act, I worked to protect our communities, public health, and the future of our nation. I also continued to speak out against the hostile rhetoric fueling political violence, because this country cannot afford to normalize hatred and ignore the consequences. At home, I was proud to secure the federal support needed to move critical infrastructure efforts forward in Florida's 13th Congressional District.

Critical Funding for Clearwater

On Monday, I was honored to present a check to the City of Clearwater for $1,750,000 in federal funding to support their local stormwater improvement project. After the repeated flooding and damage caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, it was clear that stronger infrastructure and real solutions were needed.

I worked to make sure your tax dollars are delivered back where they belong, into improving our infrastructure. This project is a critical step toward protecting homes and businesses in North Clearwater Beach, and I’m proud to support long-term improvements that will ensure our community is stronger, safer, and better prepared for future storms.

A Major Win for MAHA

This week, I fought to ensure that we stand on the side of the American people and the health of our nation, not corporate interests. After a hard fought battle, I am proud that my amendment to remove pesticide liability protections was successfully adopted into the Farm Bill, which has now passed the House and will move to the Senate. It is an honor to deliver this victory for the Make America Healthy (MAHA) movement and restore Americans’ right to take these companies to court when their products cause harm.

My amendment will force clear, enforceable warning labels, ensuring families know the risks, while protecting drinking water and public health from unchecked chemical exposure. No Member of Congress should ever choose corporate protection over public health, and this is only the beginning of that fight.

Standing Firm Against FISA

This week, I kept my word and voted NO on FISA. From the beginning, I have been clear that I would not support reauthorizing these surveillance powers unless the SAVE America Act was attached to protect the integrity of our elections. The American people should never be subjected to unchecked and invasive spy powers that can be used against them without proper safeguards. Until we get the SAVE America Act across the finish line and deliver Voter ID, I will not be compromising.

Pushing Back Against Political Violence

After the attempted assassination of President Trump at Saturday evening’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, it has never been clearer that when hatred is normalized, real people become targets and violence follows. Political violence starts with words, and until the media and leadership are held accountable for promoting this climate, they are complicit.

The madness needs to end, and there needs to be real accountability for those fueling division and turning political opponents into targets, including Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, calling for “all-out warfare” only days before the assassination attempt. I will continue to confront this hostile rhetoric and condemn political violence in every form; it does not belong in our nation.

Sincerely,

U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
