Dear {{prefix}} {{lastname}},
Happy Friday!
While Congress is out of session, the hard work continues here at home. This week, I remained focused on serving the people of Florida’s 13th District and delivering real results where it matters most. From securing critical funding to engaging directly with constituents and highlighting the next generation of talent, my focus remains on ensuring that our communities receive the support, recognition, and attention they deserve.

On Monday, I was honored to present a check to PSTA for $828,000 in federal funding to reconstruct the ferry dock at the Dunedin Marina. After how hard we were hit by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the lapse in FEMA support was completely unacceptable.
That’s why I worked to deliver your tax dollars back to our community, where they belong. The Dunedin Dock is a staple of Pinellas County, and I’m proud to support its restoration so it can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Pursuing Peace Through Faith & Dialogue
|
This week, I was honored to visit St. Andrew Stratelates Orthodox Cathedral and meet with leaders of the church here in Florida’s 13th District.
At a time of global conflict, it is critical to actively pursue peace by engaging in open dialogue, and to also raise awareness for the Orthodox Christians who continue to face persecution in Ukraine. The Orthodox community helps keep FL13 vibrant and rich in culture. We share much in common, especially our top priority: peace

Honoring Artistic Excellence
|
This week, I hosted the Congressional Art Show to recognize the extraordinary talent of high-school students across Florida’s 13th District. Out of hundreds of applicants, 50 students were selected to be honored, with six receiving honorable mentions, three earning merit awards, and one winner. I am proud to congratulate Valeria Flores Gonzalez, whose piece, The Virgin, was selected as Best in Show and will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for the next year!
