The Senate has failed the American people by refusing to move the SAVE America Act forward, even though 83% of Americans support voter ID. If the Senate will not pass election integrity in a standalone vote, then it must be attached to must-pass legislation like the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). This is not an influencer campaign or a messaging stunt. It is an urgent effort to secure our elections with real, enforceable standards. The Senate can either do its job voluntarily, or be forced to act the only way Washington seemingly ever does: through must pass legislation.

On Tuesday, I met with the FL-13 Veteran Advisory Board, which is working to strengthen veteran services and relationships across our district. As a veteran myself, and as the wife of a Purple Heart veteran, I find few things more important than delivering real support for those who served. For all of Florida 13’s veterans, we thank you for your service and I promise to always use my office to advocate for you.

Florida is sending a clear message to child predators: keep your hands off our children or face the ultimate consequence. Under the law signed by Governor Ron DeSantis, the rape of a child under 12 is now eligible for the death penalty in Florida. That is what justice should look like everywhere for child rapists. Thank you to the Florida Legislature for getting this done.
