Dear {{prefix}} {{lastname}},

Happy Friday!

This week, my discharge petition to ban congressional stock trading gained major traction. I also met with members of Germany’s AfD—the surging Conservative Party in the Bundestag—to defend freedom and demand accountability abroad. And, in the spirit of Christmas, I hosted a wonderful celebration—the annual Feliz Navidad party—at the Capitol.

Discharge to Ban Stock Trading: Gaining Ground

Last week, I filed a discharge petition to finally force a vote on banning Members of Congress from trading individual stocks. The response over the past ten days has been overwhelming. 60+ Members have already signed on, and momentum is building. To be clear, I will not allow anyone in Washington to blame this bipartisan effort for unrelated political decisions. Demanding a vote on a reform supported by over 87 percent of Americans is not a crisis, it is accountability.

But to force a vote on banning stock trading in Congress, we must reach 218 signatures. Therefore, I urge every American to contact their representative and demand they sign this petition.

Feliz Navidad 🎄✨

This Tuesday, I held my annual Christmas party at the Capitol! Attendees were greeted and escorted to the Member’s Dining Room, where they enjoyed an authentic mariachi band while feasting on tamales, birria, taquitos, empanadas, churros, and more, all catered by a local Salvadoran restaurant.

Notable guests included House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, as well as Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Senior Advisor to the Secretary of War Eric J. Geressy, Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs at the National Security Council Michael Jensen, and more.

In addition, we also had a very special visit by a high-profile Congresswoman—Representative Nutmeg!

Confronting the European Uniparty

This week, I met with several members of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) to discuss the growing authoritarian overreach taking hold within the German government. As Western institutions drift toward censorship and coordinated political pressure, it is more important than ever to build relationships with European leaders who are actively resisting the globalist takeover.

That same globalist mindset is fueling dangerous abuses elsewhere in Europe. I have been working to stop the blank checks Congress continues to send to the corrupt Ukrainian government, where there are documented cases of church raids and state pressure on certain Christian denominations. These violations of religious freedom are completely unacceptable, and the American people deserve to know why their tax dollars are still being used to prop up a government that is persecuting Christians.

My message is clear: Stop the blank checks. Demand accountability.
