I flew back to Washington this week to demand answers from the IRS whistleblowers on what the FBI and DOJ have been doing to cover up for Hunter Biden. So many of my constituents back home are sick and tired of this two-tiered justice system.
I'm laser-focused on getting to the bottom of the blatant corruption seeping from every level of office in this country. Keep reading to see what I've been working on here in Congress, including wins for our district!

Hunter Won't Be Hiding Much Longer
|
On Wednesday, I spoke out at a House Oversight hearing on how my colleagues on the Left are trying to make this Hunter Biden investigation about race, yet we’re investigating a man of — according to their terms — “white privilege” who is being aided and abetted by this administration, and somehow that’s okay!
What's most appalling is the fact that the FBI and DOJ turned a blind eye during the Hunter Biden investigation. Rather than investigating the facts, which are clear as day for anyone truly looking at them, these agencies have consistently covered Hunter and protected the Biden White House.

Putting Our Veterans First
|
I'm very proud to announce that my amendment, formed with the help & teamwork of my Veterans Coalition, has been adopted to the NDAA! There’s no reason why our servicemen and women should have to wait on getting their medical records.
Additionally, I spoke out on the House Floor last week prior to the NDAA passing with my colleague, Rep. Matt Gaetz, on the wokeness that has infiltrated our military at every level. The job and focus of our Armed Forces is to be militarily ready for whatever battle lies ahead, not pushing policies that force a certain ideology down their throats as they serve our country with honor.

Lowering Insurance Costs for Pinellas Residents
|
The Tampa Bay Times highlighted my newly introduced legislation this week, which would ensure that Florida residents can pay their flood insurance premiums month-to-month instead of a huge annual cost.
FEMA has simply not done its job and is forcing families already struggling from inflation to pay a brutal upfront cost for flood insurance when hurricane season is at its height. It’s just common sense to allow people to space out their flood insurance payments – and my legislation would force FEMA to follow the law.

Our district team had the opportunity to visit one of the three DaVita dialysis centers in FL-13. They serve around 180 patients and have helped decrease mortality from failing kidneys by 7% over the last decade. They are an essential part of our community. Thank you DaVita for your continued care for those in Pinellas County.
