After another busy week in D.C., I'm grateful to be back home ahead of Memorial Day as we prepare to honor and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Amid all the noise and constant negativity in the news cycle, it's sometimes easy to forget how blessed we are to live in the greatest country on earth, but we really do.
Here are the highlights from this week...

Holding Big-Pharma Companies Accountable
|
At House Oversight on Tuesday, I spoke out regarding the role of pharmacy benefit managers in prescription drug markets. In case you didn't know, the state of Florida currently leads the nation by recently signing comprehensive reforms into law that increase accountability and transparency over prescription drug costs.
I also gave remarks at a Natural Resources hearing on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's newly-published petition to establish a vessel speed restriction. This rule would have many adverse impacts on communities, coastal operations, and the economy in our district, as well as throughout the state of Florida.

Holding Rep. Adam Schiff Accountable for Destroying American Lives
|
This week, I filed a privileged resolution, H. Res. 437, to censure, condemn, and fine Rep. Adam Schiff $16 million (half the cost of the Russia investigation) for his egregious abuse of the trust of the American people. I, along with my GOP colleagues, look forward to an imminent vote to hold this feckless man accountable.
I encourage each and every one of you to contact your Representative to put the pressure on to sign my resolution. Read more about this in my press release here.

Joined Greg Gutfeld Live In New York City!
|
I was excited to join Greg Gutfeld's show live in NYC to discuss my resolution to condemn, censure, and fine Rep. Adam Schiff for fundraising off of & ripping apart American families by his lies.
Additionally, we also talked about the left's ongoing war against women and the realities many conservative minorities face in this country right now.

I hope that each and every one of you have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend with family and friends that are close to you. May we resolve to always honor the memory of those who gave up their lives to keep America the land of the free and home of the brave. 🇺🇸
